CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Trinity Baptist Church Children’s Ministry is to integrate all children up to age 12 into the worship and life of the church, laying a lifetime foundation by helping them build their relationship with God, learn to love His word, develop their spiritual gifts and share the message of hope with others. Our primary goal is the fulfillment of God’s word in II Timothy 2:15-17, “And how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

HISTORY AND PURPOSE

The children’s Ministry was re-organized under the vision and leadership of our pastor, Rev. Naomi E. Tyler-Lloyd. Clearly recognizing that God has a purpose for children within the body of Christ, she has wholeheartedly embraced God’s mandate and has made Children’s Ministry a top priority of the church. Her love for children and her goal to provide spiritual formation through worship, discipleship and evangelism has led to an integration of ministries involving children, including Children’s Choir, Club R.O.C.K., Movie Ministry and Youth Ushers Ministry.
