HISTORY AND PURPOSE
Pastor Nathaniel Tyler-Lloyd organized the Couples Club on May 17, 1975. The idea originated February 14, 1975 at Mama Leone’s Restaurant, 239 West 48th Street. Our purpose is to promote togetherness between husband and wife through Christian, cultural and social activities. We share the experience of love, joy and crisis that arise in our day to day relationships. Our group consists of couples whose unions are sanctioned by the established structure of the church and where one or both husband and/or wife hold membership in the church. We are always open to new members and in fact encourage and welcome their decision to join us. Meetings are held on the first Saturday of the month at 808 Rev. Dr. Nathaniel Tyler-Lloyd Place in the Fellowship Hall. Devotions and discussions begin at 5:00pm. The meeting begins at 6:00pm for official business. Following the meeting we enjoy food and fellowship. day relationships.
